Kokkinokastro

A beach with dozens of shades! Kokkinokastro is considered one of the most spectacular beaches of the island because of its deep blue waters, steep cliffs, yellow sand, colorful stones and green pine trees. As you descend to the beach, you can enjoy the view of the huge red cliffs that continue until deep into the sea forming a small cape. Excavations in the area have shown that in ancient times there was a settlement there, which perhaps justifies the second component "kastro" (meaning “castle” in Greek) in the name.
